Edwards made a great case for the ticket. Also, his wife Elizabeth is a peach, extremely charming and telegenic in the sense that she looks, speaks and emotes like a next-door neighbor. This can only help them, since Kerry and his wife project patrician wealth. You have to marvel that the Edwards look like a solid couple, with kids to match. Makes the GOP ticket look elderly and feeble.
