Here's a scoop from AmericaBlog...Jerry Falwell to give invocation on opening night of GOP convention. This is just amazing. Bush and Co. have decided to throw caution to the wind in the hope of retaining the moderate crowd with this pick. What is scary is that this means the GOP has solidified its public embrace of the evangelical right. Just sickening, though it may make for some serious fun watching this nonsense -- if I can stand to watch the hatred spew.
