I had a great time last night in a chat room with some AmericaBlog diehards commenting live on the primetime GOP speeches, all the way through Bush and then Kerry. Special thanks to RobinBaltimore, our host, and AB maestro John Aravosis for their incredibly nimble chatting and blogging multitasking. We shared in what had to be one of the most frightening convention closes I have ever seen -- it was part church revival, part Triumph of the Will. We were supplied with access to advance text of the speeches, which made it amazingly fun to deconstruct it all. They hope to do it again during the debates.
