There's a tornado warning in Chatham County, not far from Durham County (where I am). That means one has been spotted on the ground. This is being spawned by Ivan's remnants. We don't get many tornados here, so I'm keeping the radio on...Aside from the ice storms, which can be terrifying, occasionally a hurricane hits the coast and comes inland to do real damage. That happened in 1996 with Fran.
